The Saint Joseph Symphony will be performing their annual "Home for the Holidays" show December 14th.

Managing Director for the Saint Joseph Symphony, Lori McAllister says the Rico McNeela will lead the orchestra one last time in playing holiday favorites.

"The full symphony will have 52 players are on the stage and they'll be doing a great variety of both contemporary and older favorites.  They'll be several movie and television themes that people will recognize."

McAllister says the songs aren't just from the movies, but also more traditional pieces, Hanukkah music, and polkas.

"We've got Korsakov's Christmas Eve Polonaise. We even including some Hanukkah music because the festivals overlap this year.  So we're doing an arrangement called the Festive Sounds of Hanukkah.  We will also be featuring Anne Brock as a vocalist on a Irving Berlin's White Christmas.  And then we've got some Sprouse Polkas."

The Saint Joseph Symphony's "Home for the Holidays" starts at 7 p.m. December 14th at the Missouri Theater, 717 Edmond Street.
